How Can We Help You Today?

Welcome

The Adult Parole Board is an independent agency that reports directly to the governor. The Board consists of five members appointed by the Governor and approved by the Executive Council. Members serve five-year terms and may serve no more than two consecutive terms. Three Board members must preside over each hearing. Members are present at the prison only when scheduled for Parole or Revocation hearings.

Parole hearings are generally held on Thursdays in the Parole Board Hearings Room located at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men in Concord and in the New Hampshire Correctional Facility for Women in Concord. Parole revocation hearings are generally held as needed on Tuesdays in the same location.

Hearing dates and times can change based on necessity.  Members of the public wishing to attend any hearing must be 18 years of age or older and must contact the Office of the NH Adult Parole Board at (603) 271-2569.

Members of the media requesting to attend a hearing must contact the NHDOC Public Information Office at (603) 271-5602 for security clearance no later than one week prior to the hearing date.  Same day requests will not be granted.

The standard parole conditions that apply to all parolees can be found in the Adult Parole Board's Administrative Rules. Section 401.02.
